Biography

Jason Quan joined the Stanford Performance Training Staff in August 2006. He serves as the Performance Training coach for Women's Tennis, Men's Golf, Women's Gymnastics, Men's Soccer, and Women's Swimming. Jason designs and implements all aspects of the athletes' strength and speed development programs throughout the year. Prior to arriving at Stanford, he worked for New Mexico State University where he was a strength and conditioning intern for men's and women's basketball, and baseball. He was a strength and conditioning intern for The University of Texas at Austin, where he assisted with several sports including: football, women's volleyball, softball, women's swimming and diving and women's crew. Jason is from Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from The University of Arizona with an undergraduate degree in Physiological Science, and from The University of Texas at Austin with a graduate degree in Kinesiology. As a weightlifter, he competed locally, and in the 2004 Collegiate National Championships and the 2004 American Open. He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), USA Weightlifting (Club Coach), and Titleist Performance Institute (Fitness Professional Level 1).
